Prior to working with Dialab Takhmao Medical Laboratory, he was a Laboratory Quality Improvement Mentor of I-TECH (International Training & Education Center for Health) in Cambodia between 2015 and 2016.
From November 2009 until January 2014, he worked for Institute Pasteur in Cambodia (IPC), Virology Unit as Senior Laboratory Technologist who performed laboratory and administrative duties for the Project Meningitis Encephalitis and other two surveillances of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD), Syndrome Encephalitis Pneumonia (SEP) with techniques of Molecular Biology, Cell Culture, and Seroneutralization.
He graduated with Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from University of Health Science-Technical School for Medical Care (UHS-TSMC), Cambodia in 2009. In 2010, he earned a Bachelor Degree of Business English from Cambodian Mekong University (CMU), Cambodia. He has successfully completed professional online course in Laboratory Quality Management from The University of British Columbia, Canada. In 2016, he graduated with a Master Degree of Hospital Administration at National Institute of Public Health-School of Public Health (NIPH-SPH), Cambodia.
In early 2023, he pursued another master's degree in biomedical science, specializing in blood science (coursework plus dissertation) at London Metropolitan University (London Met). His dissertation, co-supervised by researcher from The University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center and London Met will be in the area of Cancer Immunology.
